NFL Alums Brady & Seymour Approved As Raiders Limited Partners

Future Pro Football Hall of Famer Tom Brady and seven-time Pro Bowler Richard Seymour have been approved by the 32 teams as Raiders limited partners. The votes were taken at a regularly-scheduled league meeting Tuesday in Atlanta. They are the third and fourth NFL alums to join current NFL ownership as minority owners. Pro Football Hall of Famer John Stallworth is a limited partner of the Steelers and Pro Bowler Warrick Dunn holds the same position with the Falcons. George Halas and Jerry Richardson, who are both deceased, remain the only two NFL alumni who owned a majority interest in an NFL team. Halas owned the Bears and Richardson owned the Panthers.
